Elektronika was a Soviet watch brand that was first released in the 1970s as a response to and based on quartz technology from Western brands like Pulsar. the rise of quartz technology in the West. They were produced in at least four factories, including Pulsar in Moscow, Angstrem in Zelenograd, Integral in Minsk, and Soyuz in Novosibirsk. The Elektronika 5 from the 1980s featured a 6-segment LCD.
